This summer, trustees of the Foundation went on an expedition to the Shalang glacier with a group of friends. It was a beautiful 12 day trek from the road head near Munsiary town and back. We saw some magnificent views of the Nanda Devi from Martoli, and an intricately handcrafted window in the village.
